Here is the method to change new windows 10's cortana's search engine from bing to google in under 30 seconds. The process involves using a google chrome extension called bing2google which is free for use. Just add it to chrome and open the chrome and search anything in cortana and the searches directly give the result from google search engine but not bing.

-Make sure that google chrome is your default search engine.
